Summary20371: Users cannot have read only permissions on surveys
Description

Hello,
We have been asked to have a read-only user in the whole installation.
We set it up only checking read/view checkboxes both on "user management" and on "Survey permissions".
If the user tries to access a question he gets the "Access denied" message and gets redirected to the survey list.
The only workaround we found for this was to also check "Survey content" -> "Update".
In that case he can access the question, click "edit" and edit the question but when he clicks "Save" he gets "Internal error in checkQuestionValidateTitle: [object Object]"

  • Add a user to LS
  • Set only read/view permissions both in "user management" and on "Survey permissions"
  • Access a survey and then a question

Expected result

  • i should see the question's page and not be able to edit it.

Actual result

  • Got "Access denied" and get redirected to dashboard
