Summary | 08597: Delete participant using token instead of token/participant ID
Description | I would like to add and remove participants using the Remote Control 2 API. However, in our application we would like to delete the participant and we only have the token, not the token ID. It doesn't look like there is currently an API call to delete the token without the token ID, and I don't see an API call to get the token ID (get_participant_properties requires the token ID). My first two ideas were to: Option 2 would probably be more trouble because I'm assuming it would need to remain compatible with people's current implementations. I could attempt to write one of these solutions if someone can let me know which way would be better, or if there is another option that is better yet.

Push. I'd also like to have this little feature. The necessary workarounds take way more lines of code than implementing this feature in the RC would. |
