Summary08173: Error 500 after Clicking "Display Tokens" Icon
Description

Hi,

using LimeSurvey version 1.94 , I have created one survey with 18,000 Survey participants entries without facing any problem.

but after upgrading to version 2.00+ Build 130913, I receive HTTP Error 500 whenever I click on "Display Tokens" icon from Token Management screen.

I referred to the tokens table in the database, I deleted some entries to find out that 15,574 is maximum number of entries I can have in the tokens table in order to avoid mentioned problem . adding one extra entry "15,575" return a blank page, as you insert more ,you will receive the http 500 error.

any help!

I remember encountering a similar issue like this before.

Out of curiosity are you using SQL Server 2008 or 2012? in combination with IIS when you get this issue?

jjxice46, any idea on this? I cannot reproduce here and I am reluctant to try to install IIS.

Rola, can you activate debug mode in /application/config/config.php and see if you get a more distinctive error?

I wasnt able to easily find any root cause for it other then it happened in SQL Server 2008 & SQL Server 2012 with almost any version of IIS. I can tell you that i dont belive it is caused by IIS since we did a resintall of the entire OS when this happened but i belive it is caused by SQL Server. In our case we simply ended up using Mysql on the same system and did not have the issue.
