Summary05496: default mininum year for a date question
Description

in qanda.php the minimal year for a date question is different if you set Display dropdown boxes to NO (default) $yearmin is set to 1980. If you set Display dropdown boxes to YES then $yearmin is set to 1900.

might be confusing for users.

well atleast both the same ofcourse. I lowered them anyway since we use the date question alot for day of birth.

I think that the standard date question should hold a large range so both 1900 to start. Cause users dont think about the range, only when they want a date that is set in the future of in the last 10 years and then they will use the attributes.

Mazi, I think the two are unrelated. as I see it that patch works that the minyear is starting from january 1 and the max date ending at december 31. both comming from the array range. but if you have 2 seperate positions where you can fill the array, the difference is still in place.
