Summary20333: Dashboard / Admin Area throws PHP Errors 500 on Version 6.15.21
Description

Since the Update to Version 6.15.21 we are no longer able to access the Dashboard / Admin Area of Limesurvey.
Stacktrace and Error 500 is attached as a picture (in German)
Interesting thing is, the Admin area was accessible on Version 6.15.14, but the Dashboard was already broken. Sadly, no one noticed this back then...

The URL rewriting described down below confuses me the most. When i check the docs the URL should look differently.

There are 2 ways to reproduce the Error:
On Version 6.15.21:

  1. Open Admin Page (example.com/limesurvey/admin)
  2. Login with admin account
  3. You instantly get redirected to "example.com/limesurvey/index.php?r=dashboard/view" which then shows the Error 500

On Version 6.15.14:

  1. Open Admin Page (example.com/limesurvey/admin)
  2. Login with admin account
  3. Click on "View Dashboard"
  4. You get the Error 500 Page
    Note that the URL gets rewritten to "example.com/limesurvey/index.php?r=dashboard/view"

Expected result

It should Show the Admin Page / Dashboard View

Actual result

It gives the Error 500.

Can you enable debug = 2 in application/config/config.php and try again, please? Paste the complete error message here.

Sure, i have done this already :) You can see the output in the already attached screenshot (Screenshot 2025-10-31 at 16-24-55 CException.png).
