| Description | Our event attendees submit their details for the attendee list. Some decide to upload a photo. Normally it worked, but since the day I have updated to Version 6.6.2+240827 (and later, currently running on 6.6.4+240923), the File Count for those entries is = 1, but there's no link to the file, neither in the list view nor in the editing of individual entries. Screenshot shows the last few for which I could see and download the file and then all the new submissions, after having done the update this Monday, where the column for the file name and link to the file is blank. It's also not the case of accidentally deleting attachments, as I have just made a submission myself with an attached file and got the same problem: it shows blank but file count is 1. Thanks in advance for looking into it, I hope we can recover the files that got submitted... but it's worrying as even checking on the ftp (upload/surveys/survey id/) the most recent file there is from August 30th, which means that probably those files are not being uploaded (or is there any chance they're getting uploaded somewhere else?) | ||||

I can not reproduce the issue using current version. Could you maybe provide us with .lss survey file? |

Thanks Tibor, surely! [unrelated, but there's also another issue with that survey – and even when I cloned it to a new one. I update the Welcome Message in the back end, but in the front end it keeps showing the old one. Maybe unrelated and not as critical, but just mentioning if by any chance there's some connection with it] |

@InnovationRoundtable still can't reproduce the issue. Regarding the welcome screen. If you think about this text (screenshot1), this is defined under Group in your survey. So not a bug in this case. |

Thanks @Tibor. Indeed, the problem there was that the text I thought was the welcome message was instead the description in the first session – so that it's solved ;) I've also updated to the very latest build, LimeSurvey Community Edition Version 6.6.6+241002 , but still can't access attachments. I might have to consider duplicating the survey or recreating from scratch...? |

The thing that I noticed is that even if participants select "I want to upload a photo", the Upload question is not mandatory, so it can remain empty. |

yes, of course, and that's the case for the majority as it's not mandatory. But if then the file count says 1 for dozens and dozens of users... they are the records with the problem, where they clearly uploaded a file and it's not accessible / or not really uploaded even if they 99.9% did (as they did others before them and it worked until that update a month ago). |
