Summary19547: Application hangs when trying to access the KCFinder
Description

In any survey, when selecting "Settings/Resources" the Rescource manager (KCFinder) loads forever and the application hangs (Screenshot 01). After a while a message appears saying "Page unresponsive" (screenshot 02). Going back or reloading the login page will exit the loop and allow the application to continue working.

However, when launching KCFinder from within the Question Editor (e.g., to import an image into a question or possible answer field), the Resource Manager loads without problems (Screenshot 03).

  1. Open any survey
  2. Select "Settings/Resources"

Expected result

The KCFinder window launches and the user can upload/download images and files.

Actual result

KCFinder loads forever and the application hangs. The user needs to reload the admin page to unblock the application.

I guess the issue can hardly be specifically local and individual because it appears in another installation too:
