When accessing a survey as user or editing a survey as admin, Limesurvey seems to get stuck in an infinite loop.

Can you enable debug = 2 in application/config/config.php and try again, please? Paste the complete error message here.

This does not help as the request does not terminate. As said, Limesurvey seems to get stuck inside a loop or something, therefore after time x I get 504 gateway timeout.
I can see that the fpm process for limesurvey causes continuous CPU load while I am waiting.

This was an upgrade.

I did a fresh install since then (with a new database), since then it works.
I guess this may be a survey-related problem.

The data integrity check seems to have solved it.

For whatever reason, I had to re-install the fruity_twentythree theme again...
