Summary | 18426: Image Select - Question Types | ||||
Description | Related to the issue raised here: https://bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=18425 The whole image select list or multiple choice is not very intuitive or user-friendly. LS is extremely powerful, but sometimes lacks some of the UX refinements that other "lesser" systems have. For these question types I feel it would be of great benefit to extend its usability and instead of just a plain text box to enter and image path this should have the following: See the image attached for the suggestion. Additional Functions (Nice to have)

Alt is needed for accessibility, title can be intersting.
figure + figcaption , all other are part of CSS , the SurveyTheme |

Yes, of course, figure + figcaption , all other are part of CSS , the SurveyTheme but I was trying to think more about being a basic user. So the admins setup the themes etc but the user can just build the survey and not worry about CSS, JS etc I know from my perspective as an example that adding in JS or additional styles into a question is no big deal, but this poses me a business issue that I or someone who is competent to make these changes are the only ones that can. Some of my PMs can't even spell HTML :) So what I'm thinking is something as easy to use to create really cool-looking surveys akin to "Survey Monkey, Google or MS forms" (all of which I hate by the way) But with the power and maturity of Limesurvey. I think a bigger user base ultimately means bigger $$$ for the Limesurvey teams. Maybe i'm pushing my luck a bit and maybe this is not the route - forgive me. |
