Summary15701: Upload file : allow to upload no image file and create a link directly
Description

In 3.X and before : we can easily create link to PDF or other file type.
It's integrated to the link system

Steps To Reproduce

The only way to do in 4.X is

  1. Upload file on resource
  2. Find the link by memory (and know good how LimeSurvey work)
  3. Paste the link

We really need a browse server and something near.

In 3.X : if you want allow user to download a PDF file suring survey: it's easy.

  1. Open "Create link"
  2. Click on "Beowse server"
  3. Upload your PDF
  4. Link is done

in 4.X : there are no easy solution.

We will have a discussion about the editor in one of the upcoming sprints since many important features have been lost with the upgrade to LimeSurvey 4. Thx for signalling all of them!

We reverted the html editor - everything works fine now in 4.4.0 RC1
