Description	Holch mean it could be a «feature request»: «I don't think it is good in terms of compatibility and consistency to use ATTRIBUTE_1 in emails but TOKEN:ATTRIBUTE_1 in the rest of the survey.» See: https://www.limesurvey.org/forum/design-issues/117048-email-template-if-statement-with-placeholder-token-does-not-work#177430 This feature Request ist a combine from the forum-topic https://www.limesurvey.org/forum/design-issues/117049-if-statement-in-text-email-with-explanation-and-real-life-example From holch's answer and all my search, I'm quite sure the documentation about the use of {if}-statements in text AND in EMAIL-Temlate is missing. mad99 2018-11-26 17:48 reporter ~49790	abstract use means: {IF(ATTRIBUTE_1 == 'SEARCH_VALUE', 'OUTPUT_IF_MATCH_TRUE', 'OUTPUT_IF_NO_MATCH_FALSE')} Example for both see in Forum-Topic. Real-world example for both would be the best too.
