| Description | I am trying to clean up the home page to only have buttons relevant for our users. I was about to remove the "ComfortUpdate" one, but first tried to check where else to access this from. I could not find any menu entry for this, so if I remove from home page, how would I access it? | ||||

I have never understod why this ComfortUpdate option should be on the desktop at all. Only usable for superadmin, which anyway get a notice in the upper left corner when an update is available. I suggest this is removed from the Desktop as default. What else could be put there in stead of the ComfortUpdate icon?? This leads me to another issue: What is really the big advantage of this Desktop thing? I would refer to have all my surveys listed as in 2.06. |

pmonstad: think about new users. In one of the meeting, we said that the landing page after loggin should be configurable by user. We'll do it, just be patient. |

I am aware of new users, but how often do a user, new or experienced, work with labels, templates or configurations? I still think 99 % of all users log into LS to either do something with an existing survey or to create a new one. Doing the mentioned stuff like edit labels etc is not what most users do at a regular basis. If the dashboard is extended to include a large block of surveys it would be great. Small icons like the existing ones (smaller than today) in a row and a list of surveys (configurable block as the buttons are). Just a thought. My point is the existing icons are not vital to most users, and new users will probably conclude "Why these tasks here, do I really need to configure or edit templates so often?" |

It's like 2 hours of work about the configurable block: I'd like to use positions for modules like in joomla templates.... but priorities.... |

Great! I know joomla very well and modules are a flexible and user friendly way to position modules with content. |
