It's because when you create a new survey : the sid is not known ... then uploader must nbe deactuvated.

In fact, it wasn't a "new" survey because, I've already saved once the survey. I've updated the limesurvey install with the 160408 build and the issue is gone :)

PS : but there are an issue with "new survey ;)"

Ce bug est arrivé avec la mise à jour (comfort upload) quand je suis passé de la 160404 à la 160408. ici lpo est à la 160407.
Comme lui, je travaillais sur un questionnaire depuis 2 jours et tout marchait très bien, je fais cette mise à jour et désormais, je ne peux plus rien modifier des paramètres généraux et textes du questionnaire
Le simple fait de cliquer sur save ou save and close ouvre cette maudite fenêtre qui n'a rien à voir avec mon questionnaire !

I installed a new setup of LS just two weeks ago from the site download. 2.5 buils 60317. I have created a couple of surveys and this morning I upgraded to buils 60408 and now I have similar problems.

• Trying to change a surveys template crashes out to KCfinder

• Create a new template and try to use it .... crash out to kcfinder.

I have no symlinked stuff on my install????

I have backed out the update and I'm back to 60317.

KCFinder problem has gone away.

@umfundi : How can I cancel an update ?(before 160408 I was 160404 and everything worked perfectly). Problem began with 160407 !!!

I had a copy of 60308 in my downloads file, simply copied it over the top of the directory that was live, worked perfectly.

BUT I'M WORKING IN A DEV ENVIRONMENT so I CAN'T GUARANTEE IT'LL WORK FOR you!

I suggest you set up a dev/test server copy of your live site ( if you haven't already ) , test the rollback and then roll that out.

It's te third time I see this github page, and I can see that there is somewhere a </form> which should not be there. I agree it's a mistake.

But this doesn't give us the solution to fix the bug described in 10895 10897 and 10893.

Release 160408 with this 2 commits seems OK :

In fact, no, KCFinder doesn't open anymore but the settings aren't saved.
