IMHO, translating ON/OFF is a nonsense.

eg : in French, a 'correct' translation would give super large words : 'allumé/éteint', in spanish 'ENCENDIDO/APAGADO' and I guess it would be the same in many languages.

Everybody understand ON/OFF, it's conventional in technologies. TV, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, etc. use the words ON/OFF in every languages for their buttons. When they don't use the words 'ON/OFF' they use symbols : circle/bar (0/I). But you'll never see on the ignition button of a television large words such as 'ENCENDIDO/APAGADO'

So, if you really think it's making problems, we can replace ON/OFF by circle/bar ( 0/1), which is another international convention for ON/OFF. But allowing large words like 'ALLUMÉ ÉTEINT' or 'ENCENDIDO APAGADO' in a switch button is not possible.

if yes/no is convenient, yes, we could use it again.
But Yes/No is an answer to a question. So it implies to change the label to a question : "Activate this feature ? Yes / No".
If you don't write the label as a question, it should be : "Feature : ON/OFF" or "Feature: 0/1". But "Feature: Yes/No" is incorrect. You'll never find a washing machine with a ignition button "Yes/No"

By the way, all those comments are in the wrong bug report, sorry for that.

Yes, wrong report ....

For this one :
Never translate website .... i fix the url here : usage of example.com redirection.com exist, and i don't think you want to marketing for this website ;) (exemple.com exist too .... spam web site : it's why we must never allow translation of website)

Another solution is to use the baseUrl from the actual limesurvey instance .... but example.com seems more clean

And : same for email ... user@example.com

One time : we use user@(mail.com) ... this one exist too

Where is the bug for On/Off ?
O/1 seems better but can be hard to understand
eventually
<span aria-hidden='true' class='glyphicon glyphicon-ok'></span><span class="sr-only sr-only-focusable"><?php gt("On"); ?></span>
