Yes @tibor.pacalat thanks for your comment, but I feel it's a mayor issue, should be shipped completely when it's done. Sorry, this is half work, undocumented and a waste of time. Maybe for an imminent 6.16.0 but cannot be released as a patch. Excuse me, I feel a little disappointed. I released in staging.

I am sorry you feel this way @tassoman. On the other hand, I am not sure how I feel about your comment. Last that I checked, we are an open source software and you are using Limesurvey for free. We are constantly building new features and working on improving our software, which sometimes leads to rash decisions. This feature works as intended, and we listen to our users complaining about changing the existing work flows and lack of communication about upcoming changes. But we are improving constantly and learning along the way, as we all should.

Thanks for caring. As you probably know, our government organisation embraced LS and contribute as much is possible. For example, nowadays I'm filing WCAG accessibility assessment we paid for giving out an effective service. We paid our assessment and we're giving back info for free, to the community. We even contributed in the past fixing some small issues.

My previous disappointment was not a personal threat, not to the company, not to the community. It's because the value of a good long running project risks to get misunderstand by oversights.

This 7y old thread [1] lets we understand the project is using Semantic Versioning procedure [2]. Because the topic was reviewed by a community moderator, I guess it's real. Project is releasing small fixing patches. The matter is the latest minor looks like unstable for production, should be claimed in the downloads page and second last minor version should be claimed useful in production environments.

A full refactoring of administration routing and survey creation procedure, surely is not a small fix. I feel it's a complete work on a minor feature.

can confirm the issue is still existing in the current installed version 6.15.6. it is not possible to properly create new surveys.
Not quite sure why this new feature(?) is tested in prod but it would be nice to fix it / make a rollback and test it in a beta.

Addendum: The latest patch has changed the destination; after creating a survey, you are now taken to the page for creating questions. I cannot say whether this is intentional, instead of first setting the title, base language, etc., as was previously the case.

@tassoman: Thanks a lot for you and your government (which country/city?) for contributing to Limesurvey.

@tibor.pacalat: I have to admit that I am also rather confused about the new work-flow. First thing I now always do is changing the survey title, otherwise you'll have many "Unknow surveys" at the survey list. Can't this be integrated into the work-flow by adding a pop-up?
The current behavior is really confusing, especially for long-term users. Such half-baked solutions should not be part of an official stable release.
