Summary18925: LDAP Login - unable to login with certain special characters in password
Description

Unable to login with certain special characters in passwords, reproduced with "§" but also got reports from users unable to login with a "*" however I was unable to reproduce that and for security reasons I cant ask for the full LDAP password of the user.

  1. Configure LDAP-Authentification (Active Directory)
  2. Set a password like: Pass§word1
  3. Try to login and get a message about given credentials being invalid

Expected result

Successful login.

Actual result

Get a message about credentials being invalid.
