It's the expected result.

If you update this : you broke a bunch of survey. Need a new index system else.

And i never see an user complain on forum.

Do you have an article that defines this as the default behavior together with backward navigation, i couldn't find anything regarding this case

And for allow backward :
If enabled, users can navigate backward and change his or her previous answers.

The sentencr saying : if you enable index : user can move to previous group

There are no : if disable… etc …

Do what you want : but if you disable moving to previous group : there are NO REASON to activate incremental index.

And if you activate index full with 10 groups : if user goes to group 10 and you disable gfoes to previous : user can not see Grpoup²,3 etc … again NO REASON to activate index.

You want to update a system working since years like that.

I don't have to give good reason to do not do this. You have to give good reason to update …

@p_teichmann why don't we just update the manual and the Ui to match current behaviour?

Not sure if it makes sense to have index w/jump, but not backwards...
It is like jumping from Q1 to Q5, but not being able to come back?

I guess that when having an index, you will always want backwards navgation, right?
