Summary14591: Default answer codes do not work for subquestion relevance
Description

When I use the default answer codes I cannot set the subquestion relevance, but when I change them (thanks to a forum post by Joffm which I cannot find anymore), they do work. This means that the default answer codes 'hinder' the user in getting things done.

Default answer codes are : A1 , A2 etc.
Subquestion relevance works when these codes are changed to 1, 2, etc.

  1. q00003_SQ001 !== Q00003_SQ001
  2. or testing a VALUE : Q00003_SQ001 == "A1"
  3. A4 mean the variables A4 (question code is A4)

It's since more than a lot of years … and GUI editor is OK

Thank youi very much. I now see my mistake.

But still: when a relevance equation is wrong, (Q00001_SQ001==A4 is obviously not true) why is the subquestion shown? Should it not be hidden?
