Many survey tools offer a way to provide a page with infos about surveys (field report, some results).
The offer them via URL with or without protection.

As a survey administrator you create a template for such a report info page. And then a person can visit the page for real time infos about a survey. Being able to export via PDF,XLS as a URL would be nice too. Some survey tools allow to schedule reports as well.

To implement such a feature in the most generic way, the question is, if the remote API could be used in case you want to consolidate infos from more than one LimeSurvey installation.

A plugin based on Drupal or Wordpress might be an alternative approach.
Or sponsoring a plugin for LimeSurvey, which allows getting field data of LimeSurvey installations via API.

Is LS4 capable of connecting via RemoteControl API to other installations and exposing everything need to the plugin API?
Onlinereporting for users, which should not see or do anything else, than seeing just a report page (and later might be able to drill or filter preselect datasections).
