Summary13937: Suggestion to improve Menu System
Description

I created a new menu item that I want to link to an external web site, but when I set this up, and then click on the menu item, the browser tab freezes and my target URL doesn't open.

Also, can I suggest a new bug tracker category for menu system, as I'm sure other bugs will be found under that category over time.

Hey, I'm really sorry the menu system is not well documented.
I will change that as soon as i got the chance to.

To have an external link working properly, you will have to add

{"render": {"link": { "pjaxed": false}}}

Into the data field in the advanced options.
There will be a wizard somedy, but it has no high priority, yet.
