| Description | When using ranking question type, items cannot be dragged directly into bottom position. This is old jQuery version, I think latest LS using newer version. But still have this problem. I think all the built-in templates have this problem. See link below: The only template doesn't have this problem is Default Reloaded Can we fix all the built-in templates? | ||||

Hello Tony, can you have a look at this and see if this may be easily fixed by CSS? AFAIK the default reloadded template is using the default jQuery version. |

I record my screen and save as video file. See attachment. I use demo.limesurvey.org/ to test. As you can see in the video, I try to drag the item into the last position on the right, but it will always put it into second last position. I use Google chrome 44.02403.125. I try in firefox, it's the same thing. I cleared up my cache and everything. I also tried in my work place. Same result. When you try to drag, don't touch the item on the right, you will see the problem. |

Yes, OK, I checked the video and I have the same behavior, but I'm not sure it's a bug. Of course you can still put an item at the bottom when dragging more precisely. |

Well, this behavior is not expected. Imagine someone is doing the survey, he/she is doing Ranking question the first time, the survey taker may not know why the item go to the second last instead of going to the last position. From this point of view, I believe this is a bug. We can not assume all survey taker are web-savvy user who know to fix it by drag it to the right first, then drag it to the bottom. Also, from data analysis point of view, we don't know if the survey taker meant to rank to the last position or second last position. What do you think? |

Carsten, I can see nothing in the CSS to cause this. As far as I can tell, it's a jQuery UI bug that may have been fixed in version 1.11.0 - http://bugs.jqueryui.com/ticket/9314 |

For both demo version and 2.07 preview version, the problem is still there. I test on different computers. To see the problem easily, drag and drop to the right but don`t touch the item on the right, drag and release the item near bottom of the drop zone, you will see the item go to second last position instead of last position. May be assign to Mazi as he fixed the issue in the Default Reloaded template |

David, please wait until the next 2.5RC version is released. If it still not works in that version please let us know. |
