Summary09663: Survey permissions reset automatically to default
Description

I have just realized quite a few users have permissions - at the survey level - that they shouldn't have. I have readjusted those permissions - saved the update - but noted that they reverted back to some sort of a default.

Note: that default doesn't have "ticks" in the boxes but rather "blue squares" if that can help at all tracing the issue - ?

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Link a user to a survey
  2. Set survey permissions for that user that are different than the default
  3. Save
  4. Go back to user's permissions and verify the status change

Look at this user Global Permission for survey.

Validate if "blue square" is here due to Global Permission.

Hi Denis,

It doesn't seem to me, although I am maybe not clear enough on how Global Permissions translate into "local permissions".

I have attached screen captures of both global and local permissions of that one user. Hope that can help

The user have Update permission on all survey => Then you allow to create question, update question, update text element etc ... on ALL survey.

For checked by Global settings : we use the triple state system.

PS: Please, upload directly picture , it's really annoying to download a docx file !

Well noted - I need to get used to that approach. Will spend sometime on it asap an review all admin rights granted so far. Thanks for return ;) and noted for the pictures

HI,

The "look" of the "checked by default" Permission is better in 2.06. And you see the REAL last Permission actually :).
