Summary09434: only admin can set to closed access or generate tokens for copied survey
Description

We do a lot of instances of basically the same survey with minor modifications, so a bunch of survey administrators (all have Superadministrator rights) copy the survey and then edit it. This worked well in the old, pre 2.05 version we were using.
Now, people are having problems setting the survey to "closed access"

Steps To Reproduce

copy survey

click "activate this survey" triangle

choose no yes no no yes, "save/activate survey"

click "switch to closed access mode"

Nothing happens. Clicking on "no thanks", same thing.

If I do all of this with the uber-admin account that set up Limesurvey I can do all this, but the Superadministrators can't.

Additional Information

They can't even generate tokens if I use the setup account to generate a table. Again, setup account can.

I tried with your survey and others. I'm not able to reproduce this bug.

Did you clear your browser cache after update?
What permissions do they have in detail? Who owns the survey?

Sorry about the delay.

Q: did I clear the cache.
A: I actually did this in totally separate browsers, and on separate PCs. Yet problem persists.

Q: Who owns the survey.
A: The user who tried to generate the tokens owns the survey. It's a copied survey if that makes any difference.

We now have some users able to get past the generate tokens button some of the time. At some point we thought it's a Firefox vs IE issue, but that isn't consistent either.

Nobody is able to reproduce this. So unless I can see this live in action (do I am able to inspect the HTML) or you can reproduce this somehow on our demo installation I will have to close this issue.

Let me know if it would be possible to get access - my email is carsten.schmitz [at] limesurvey.org - all data will be kept confidential, of course.
