| Summary | 08424: Client gets survey complete message but results not stored in responses | ||||
| Description | Using tokens the client logging and registered get and email with link and starts survey. Goes through the survey and get a completion message and email confirmation - all well so far. As super admin I get the same notification saying completed survey. When I go into response it says survey not completed and if I export the results only the first few questions have been completed. If I go to taken table it says the survey was completed with date and time. This is 2.05 RC7 Build 131125 if I do the same survey on my other server which is running git but about two weeks behind I do not have any problems. I have moved my clients to this surveys and they now complete and the the survey show complete in responses and token table. On the RC7 server the same client did three and four times got completion messages but again not completed in the responses. Before upgrade to RC7 the same survey was fine. I explained to Sam and he suggested I raise a bug report. In the attached ptx's Angello and John got completion messages shows in token table but not completed in respones. | ||||

Added a copy of survey - from RC7 - it is the same copy that is OK on RC6 git update. |

I am sorry but I cannot reproduce it. I took the survey once and everything was fine Please reduce the survey to a minimal test case. See if the problems go away if you make it shorter, maybe it is some limit on your webserver. |

both servers are identical and this test has been running for months before upgrade to RC7 on my other server in RC6+ it is working OK. I will take down and re install because i did notice that the file size is 1 Kb less. Will do some more checks. I am also getting token problem when developing a new short survey when I deactivate it says I have already done it even though there is no token table and responses - gain the same assessment on RC6+ is OK. lats resort is I may re-install the whole program. Have reinstated the RC7 release and have cured the problem - the problem seem to occur if I use the comfort update. I will stop using comfort update. Thanks again for bearing with me. |
