Summary07027: CPD List repeats entries on multiple pages intermittently when sorted by a column
Description

Following on from issue 6956,it appears that when sorted by any column, entries are intermittently repeated at the top of the next page when moving through results.

Tested in both IE8 and FF16 and behaviour is the same

Steps To Reproduce
  • Load a large list into the CPD (I have 3,000)
  • Sort by Surname column
  • Click page by page through the reults using the next page arrows
  • Compare the last entries on a page to the first entries on the next page ... intermittently they will be repeated

Linked to this ... I've just attempted to add all participants from the CPD to a survey by selecting 1000 per page --> Add --> Next page --> 1000 per page --> Add --> 1000 per page --> Next page --> next page --> Add --> 1000 per page --> Last Page --> add

In total I have 3155 entries in my CPD and the survey has a total of 3152 so 3 were not added.

This seems to be a Yii MSSql issue:

https://github.com/yiisoft/yii/pull/1318

Fix didn't work for some reason, but this is very hard to fix since it is in Yii and not in LS specific classes. For newest mssql there seem support for offset/fetch but that limits to only newest version.... what to do?

We should wait until a proper fix in Yii is in place on their codebase then backport it to our version.

Is there a quick interim fix I can deploy until the 'proper' fix is released? I guess this would be useful to other SQLExpress 2012 users too?
