Summary06179: Files with umlauts in filename do not upload on some browsers
Description

If a filename contains umlaut characters (ä, ö etc), file upload fails on certain browsers.

Steps To Reproduce

Try to upload a file with umlauts in file name on Mac + Safari or Mac + Chrome.

Additional Information

Works on Mac + Firefox.

This will not be resolved in 1.92 anymore, but scheduled for 2.0. Just don't use files with umlauts for the moment.

Carsten, wouldn't it be quite easy to use some JS to check the filename prior to upload and throw a warning pop-up?
The same solution we could probably use for Limesurvey 2.
