Summary05172: 1.91 Cannot take survey: Session Expired Error Message
Description

Regardless of browser or OS.
Regardless of whether cookies are turned on.
Regardless of any survey you create.

While taking the survey the page will display:

"ERROR
We are sorry but your session has expired.
Either you have been inactive for too long, you have cookies disabled for your browser, or there were problems with your connection."

Upon checking the index.php for this error message, I found that this message was nested in condition that validated "s_lang" or the base language. I do not understand code, so I cannot be sure of this.

Found someone saying the resolved the issue by modifying a php.ini
file? This was posted in a forum on limesurvey.

Re: Session has expired--seriously?
Ok, problem solved. I looked at my php.ini file on the file server and deleted the register_globals value. Works fine now.

Created a php.ini file and put it in the limesurvey directory. Solved the problem I think.
