Summary05080: Paste doesn't work in Google Chrome and Safari (Mac OS X)
Description

Pasting text in the integrated HTML editor does not work in Google Chrome and Safari (latest versions) on Mac OS X. It does work in Firefox, though... Also, it works when "editing source" in both chrome and safari.

Steps To Reproduce
  • Create survey
  • edit any text element with integrated html editor in either Google Chrome (10) or Safari (5)
  • try pasting text into the editor. It doesn't work.

But: if you press the "toggle full screen & advanced options", and then edit source, pasting text works.
Also, it does work in the integrated html editor in Firefox (4)

Hello,

With chromium on GNU/Linux, if i copy, right click in the editor i can paste in the new windows.

Ctrl+V doesn't work, but maybe it's good for bad html pasting.

yeah.. I see now that you can right click to get up a dialog box.. but it's still inconsistent...

it's just a fckeditor problem or problem in its embedding

This won't be fixed until we upgrade to CKEditor at some point in the future. There is a way to paste as Shnoulle pointed out so this is a no-fix for now.
