Summary04952: Default option setting have no effect on data entry
Description

When i set a default option in advanced setting, this setting have an effect only in public form, not in data entry form.

Please add default value support in data entry.

But i think, all question type allow default response is affected by this bug.

ok, when thinking about it. Why should data entry have a default value?
The data entry is supposed ot be used to capture data from paper surveys. Usually paper survey don't have default values.

For improve entry speed default value is usefull.
I chose the value the most current for default value when i know it.

Yeah, so you need are separate default values for data entry. but that is a completely different animal. There is no such feature yet. Please submit it under http://ideas.limesurvey.org
