The Excel spreadsheet has an invalid sheet name. Excel automatically fixes this when I open the document.

The Word document opens with an invalid character set, which it fixes on opening. The contents are then just:

Changed the line for .doc output so it doesn't try to inject in a pdf. The naming of xls tabs was untouched by me as excel fixes this by itself and the problem is in the survey name.
