Summary | 03663: SurveyID INSERTANS in ExitUrl isn't converted to new ID
Description | {INSERTANS:SurveyID_of_exported_SurveyX111X111} Exiturls of quotas aren't converted either. Convert resources links and INSERTANS fields is ticked in the import dialog. Sidenote: The IDs used in javascript are untouched too. But this might be more a feature than a bug.

SurveyID,GroupID and QuestionID remain unchanged. SurveyID was just as an example. |
Can you add a small sample survey which we can use to reproduce the problem? |
SampleSurvey attached with the following parts to look for: EndURL contains ?test={INSERTANS:62535X282X550} End message contains {INSERTANS:62535X282X550} When exporting and reimporting survey with option "Convert resources links and INSERTANS fields" ticked these INSERTANS stay the same. Not sure if the fields "Welcome message" and "Description" ever need INSERTANS. |
I can reproduce the problem. |
This has never been implemented, though it is not difficult to do so. I agree to implement this for End-url and End-URL description. Other values can't have INSERTANS codes. |
What is meant by "other values cannot have INSERTANS" ? I am not into the codebase yet. But isn't it possible to get the converting routine to convert every occurrence in every line of the survey? It would allow to really duplicate a survey via export/import without reediting and testing. Cannot answer the question if it worth it to go the extra mile with Limesurvey on the horizon. |

Fixed in rev 7625. |
