Summary03574: Apostrophe (single quote) in free text crashes the survey
Description

As it has been reported in forums and acknowledged by rakete (Re:Problem with apostrophe and mysql in survey answer 4 Days, 17 Hours ago Karma: 8
looks like a bug from the past came back into the code... Can't find the ticket at the moment, but I am 99% sure, we had a similar Problem fixed half a year ago...), it appears that old bug was re-introduced. Every time we tried survey with free text fields and someone entered text containing apostrophe (eg I'm here), survey crashed after clicking on NEXT.

This has been fixed by temporarily switching magic_quotes_gpc=on but that is not desirable.

I also think that it is a serious issue, BUT! At least here, we have been able to fix it by setting magic_quotes_gpc=on and so far we have not seen any side effects on other surveys - having 10+ live right now...

Excuse me, but can you tell me how it was resolved? I am running latest 1.85+ and it is there... :-(
