Summary03509: Allways crash at 'test this survey' after random number of questions, circa 50%
Description

The websurvey allways crashes at 'test this survey' after random number of questions, circa 50%.

I developped about 210 questions, but can't test the total questionnaire anymore. I fear the system will crash also when i activate the survey.

Additional Information

  • I also get an error when I try to add or edit a condition 'Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in F:\Websites\rb-steunpuntwvg-e\swvg_surveys\vragenlijsten\admin\conditionshandling.php on line 665'

  • I migrated the survey to another webserver, but I get the same errors/problmes

I don't think that's a LimeSurvey bug ==> please have a look at:
http://docs.limesurvey.org/tiki-index.php?page=Installation+FAQ&structure=English+Instructions+for+LimeSurvey#Problems_with_long_surveys

Can you resolve your issue with this tip? Please provide feedback!

Do you really use v1.80? If yes, upgrade to latest stable plus version ==> LimeSurvey v1.85+

Dear ElMatador,

I split the survey in two halves. I tested the first half, 148 questions and have still the same problem.
Still too many questions?

Please raise your PHP/server limit, especially max_execution time.

Do you use lots of conditions? When havong lots of conditions and many question and not enought server ressources the script might time out.
