Summary20766: Error when running a different survey, upon closing the current one
Description

The error described below blocks blocks the system for the user until session ends. It occurs both for admins and users working on subsequent surveys.
Re-opening the crashed survey or admin panel on a private window works.
Note: Looking at the cookies, the Session-ID changes every time a different survey is started. The error appears only after switching page from the welcome to another one.

In the same browser:

  1. Run a survey and go to next page
  2. Close interview
  3. Run a different* survey and go to next page.

*"different" meaning with another survey id

Actual result

Error: 500 Internal Server Error - An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("Hash::check(): Argument #1 ($data) must be of type array, int given, called in /application/core/LSWebUser.php on line 112") in "./subviews/messages/warnings.twig" at line 49.

Unable to reproduce the issue using the provided steps.

Could you please provide some additional information to help us investigate?

  • Whether the issue occurs with any two surveys or only specific ones
  • Whether they are opened at the same time in the different tabs, or one is closed and only then another one is opened
  • What exactly is meant by "closing" (closing the tab, navigating away, saving to resume later)
  • Whether any custom authentication/session configuration or plugins are in use

Additionally, could you please clarify which session cookie changes when starting another survey?
