Hello, Limesurvey does not want to save my password for the "Email Settings" configuration in SMTP, and resets "somepassword", its default Password, after each save attempt.

I put my Password and click on save, and the Limesurvey password takes the place of mine and it does not work for sending emails.

I've seen the Forum and I can't find a solution.

Dozens of attempts remain unsuccessful.

With Firefox or another browser, the result remains the same.

I am at OVH and have always used the SMTP method.

In General parameters. In email setting, I put my Password SMTP and click on save, and the Limesurvey password default takes the place of mine.

Expected result

After clicking save my entered password should have taken the place of limesurvey's default ("somepassword")

Actual result

My password is not saved and limesurvey's default password is back.

I managed to reproduce the issue, please see the screenshots below.

In the first screenshot you can see that the payload is sending correct value to the endpoint.
In the second screenshot you can see that the value of the emailsmtppassword after submitting the form is wrong (should be test).

Thank you for your interest in my problem. I just uninstalled everything and reinstalled everything, but the problem remains the same. The password resets on every save to "somepassword". I don't know how to fix this problem. Do you have a solution for me? What should I do ? THANKS.
