Summary17546: LDAP authentication crash
Description

After upgrading (using ComfortUpdate) to version 5.1.4+210824 from last version 3.xx, LDAP autentication stoped working.
Bugs are in the file AuthLDAP.php.

  1. strpos() function has wrong syntax "str_pos()".
  2. some other minor changes disallow (after correction strpos error) finding users.
    Sollution: I replaced the module with the previous version AuthLDAP.php and it work well again.
    It would probably be a good idea to check this module before it becomes part of the next update
Steps To Reproduce
  1. Try to authetticate. Server error (unknown function) occured
  2. LDAP connected to MS server, but any user is not uuthenticated.

Thank you for reporting this issue. There is already a fix in testing. This is a duplicate bug report.

First problem ( str_pos() instead of strpos() ) is the same as bug ID 17535 here.
Bad authentication (User not found) after removing this problem but remains.

The latest LTS version, 3.27.14 build 210831, also has this issue. Should a new bug report be filed?
