I am sorry but I have no idea what you mean. Lime does not appear to produce log files.. ??? .. I looked at config.php (application/config) for a log file parameter but saw nothing useful for this. The wiki manual does seem to have anything to explain where/how to find logs either. My apache logs do not show any errors on this. If "activate console" means login as admin, great.. but I see nothing that matches "go on network" so is there a "network" admin panel or pop up debugger I'm not seeing? The DB has a table on expression errors which does record an error: Backtrace ./libraries/sql.lib.php#2128: PMA_isRememberSortingOrder(array) |
That's actually an error in phpmyadmin - not lime. Sorry, hit "add note" without thinking. my phpmyadmin is out of date (uses php 5.6) and I'll update it later this morning. |

About copnsole, Here with firefox See the 1st one (POST) : you have surely a 500 error here. Best is to just check XHR at right |
0 - Thanks for the quick responses! Much appreciated. 1 - ah.. I'm being retarded (debile) today .. I'll replicate the error later and hope to see how to start that console then. 2- apache shows some "500" errors from yesterday: e.g. [27/May/2020:14:54:07 -0600] "POST /index.php/admin/questioneditor/sa/saveQuestionData/gid/1/sid/519919 HTTP/1.1" 500 4453 "https://www.wadocan.org/index.php/admin/questioneditor/sa/view/surveyid/519919/gid/1/landOnSideMenuTab/structure" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0" |

I have no idea why .. but I just created a new survey with some of the same questions that caused the failure yesterday with no problems at all. Nothing has changed except that I added two brackets to the sql.lib.php file for phpmyadmin to correct the error shown above and cleared the browser cache before starting. No permissions were changed anywhere. My default for all of web directories is -R www-data:www-data and that's how it was installed yesterday. I don't see why it would matter but DB perms are GRANT SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, CREATE, DROP, INDEX, ALTER,CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES ON etc etc |

hey @rudydehaas, does the issue persist in latest 4.3 release? have you had time to take a look at it? |
I have not yet tried any of this with the latest releases. I ran the full survey with the thing as-was, exported the results using sql from mariadb, and produced the reports using perl (actually awk translated to perl). However.. this issue is going to come again in panic mode in about a month when the u will want to rerun things for more students. By then I will have loaded the latest again and will then find out what has been fixed and what hasn't. |
You're using an outdated version of LimeSurvey. Please update to the latest version and check if the bug can still be reproduced. Thank you. |
This was fixed and reported fixed some time ago. Why is it still here? |
