| Summary | 15836: Cannot click/fill the "input validation" field while editing question | ||||
| Description | I have Limesurvey 4.1.1 build 20200203 installed, with mysql isam , on a debian buster vps, mostly everything seems to be working as expected, except for trying to fill the "input validation" field of a S type question. As far as I read the manual, searched the forums and tried to find help on IRC, it seems to be a bug | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Create a question -> select short free text (S) type -> try to click or fill the question, or try to get focus on it tabulating. Always impossible to be able to write in it | ||||

With https://manual.limesurvey.org/Question_type_-_Short_free_text#Sub-question_validation_equation_.28em_validation_sq.29 : you can set your help to exactly what you want. If you really need regexp : But : there still an issue :). Youre bug report is valid :) My opinion : best solutuon is to move this settings to a plugin activated when upgrade to 4.2 are the best solution for global evolution of LimeSurvey (but need a lot of work) |

@cdorin: Is is a regression. A field which cannot be edited. Seems to be a GUI issue. Removing that field seems to be possible, when transition to regexMatch is suggested. |
