Summary14529: Non-SPSS-export leaves out last variables and answers
Description

After exporting my survey answers to CSV, I found for one survey that the last six variables of the last question group including their answers were not exported. It's the same for XLSX export, but it works with SPSS export.

Steps To Reproduce

Export as CSV or XLSX and check if all variables were exported.

Sorry for the delay. Here it comes. Strangely, two more variables are being exported now in the CSV. I get everything until V311comment. I don't have the same problem with every survey!

Ok, thank you fore reporting it. Do you have by any chance any other longer surveys with this issue? to see if there is an issue with the question type? It would help us a lot to share some "templates" of yours!

For the others that are looking at this problem, I have the same issue whenever I try to export more than 982 columns (see the attach survey from @ferdeng). His problem applies to many other export export formats (tried R , Stata, and xls on my local installation -> only the first 982 columns were exported; ubuntu 18.04, nginx, mariadb, php7.2 - no special configuration)

This behaviour depends only on setting "max_input_vars" in loaded php.ini file.
Default value is 1000 and number of response columns is close to it.
When this setting is increased to say 4000, all response columns would be shown.
Just remember to restart your web server and php-fpm process.
