Summary14284: custom-theme layout_survey_list.twig does NOT overwrite default vanilla layout_survey_list.twig
Description

The file /limesurvey/upload/themes/survey/own-theme-extends_fruity/views/layout_survey_list.twig does NOT overwrite the default File under
/limesurvey/themes/survey/vanilla/views/layout_survey_list.twig

So the change (see in picture 1) in the Theme-Manager has no effects!

All other changes for the Welcome-Page are working fine.(see in picture 2)

And also the file layout_survey_list.twig is copied in the custom-theme-folder (See picture 3).
If I overwrite (hardcoded) the vanilla layout_survey_list.twig file with the content from the custom-theme file layout_survey_list.twig, the change are like they should. All is fine!

Hope will help to catch the bug/solve the problem.

Steps To Reproduce

Click on Configuration > Themes > choose custom Theme > click on button Theme-Editor > choose in «Theme Preview» the value «Surveylist» > click on ayout_survey_list.twig
(own translation from German-Labels: Klicke auf Konfiguration > Designvorlagen > wähle eigene Vorlage > Designvorlagen-Editor > wähle unter «Vorlagen in Vorschau» den Wert «Umfrageliste» > klicke auf ayout_survey_list.twig)
Change the content.
Save the file.
Go to survey Frontpage
Reload

NO CHANGE.

Changes for layout_survey_list.twig file aren't displayed on front page immediately.
You also have to set "Default theme" in Global configuration to your new theme "own-theme-extends_fruity".
Then it would work.

thank you for help. Great to know! And it works.

Without your information, it is very difficult or impossible for unpractised users to recognize why some templates changes do well and others do not.
Is there any documentation about "How do I change the survey-list output"? Could you send me the link?
If there is no documentation yet, it would be very helpful.
Also I couldn't find anything about it in the forum.
It also seems that Carsten Schmitz from support didn't think about this "beginner's mistake".
Documentation about and better findability of the article would certainly help all involved.

There is one line describing this exact issue:
"layout_survey_list.twig : render the survey list (if this theme is set as default)"
