Description

Hello,
we have a poll containing a single-choice question (list dropdown) with 240 answer options. This is created in 2 languages ​​(EN and DE).
Unfortunately we get the following error message when creating the question about "Quick Add" as well as about "predefined label sets":
Not all answer options have been saved. This usually happens due to a server limitation (PHP setting max_input_vars) - please contact your system administrator

max_input_vars is already set to 40000

Steps To Reproduce

Thanks, the problem can also be reproduced on Demo.limesurvey.org.
With one language would fit, with two languages ​​the error is there.
Somewhere at 260-280 the system goes off.

Yes : default max_input_vars is at 1000.
Each answer need :
a code + a string + a position + the old code (for some control) + relevance (it's hidden for answer, but needed for subquestion)
Then : 300 goes up to 1000

We can remove some inpyt, but there are always a time when it broke : if we have only code + text : 501 and it broke.

In my opinion : we can't fix this … set you max_input_vars at 100 000 and it's OK.

Oups/edit : With max_input_vars at 100 000 i never have issue, already adding 300 lines in 8 language …

Please check via phpinfo what values are really available to LimeSurvey. Perhaps the limits are still there.
