Summary13550: Allow update Question type in activated survey (partially)
Description

Currently we can not update Question type after activation : because DB data type can be different.
But some question type have same datatype , then can allow partially updating Question Type

Additional Information

Simple same data type, and no issue if updating after activated

  • Short text / Long text / Huge text (Equation too)
  • List choice : dropdown / radio

Other question type

  • Array 10 point / 5 points / list : here the update of anwer code can have issue. But allow Array 5 point to Array / answers (for example answers 1 to 5 + Not Applicable) can bne intersesting
    Surely other

I think for simple question type : difference are more "Question template" than real difference. Like 5 point choice : stars / emoticon / 5 point. Or Yes/No : button or radio.
Then this one can be done without deactivate Survey.

If logic update : 5 point to radio list for example : 2 solution

  1. Stay like cirrently : disable survey, update, enable survey, import ols responses
  2. Allow it but show it as warning CSS + warningstring

About 2 : there are an issue during some minutes : just after set a 5 point to 'choice list" : no choice in list : broke survey.
