Summary13462: Response to ranking question not saved when navigating forward/backward or when warning message appears
Description

Say there is a question group that includes one or more ranking questions ("double click or drag & drop...").

When the respondent answers the questions (including the ranking questions) but forgets to fill out one of the other mandatory questions, a warning message correctly appears reminding the respondent to complete all mandatory questions. However, after closing the warning pop-up message, the responses to the ranking question(s) have disappeared, while all other responses are remembered on the form.

The same happens when the respondent is allowed to navigate between question groups with the "previous" and "next" buttons. Even if all questions on a page have been correctly answered and "remembered", the ranking question answers are wiped out.

This is quite a nuisance if you have several ranking questions with 10 or more items in each and you have to rank them all over again.

Steps To Reproduce
  • Create question group with one or more ranking questions
  • Allow respondents to navigate forward/backwards
  • Activate survey
  • Navigating between completed question groups will wipe out the responses to the (fully ranked) ranking questions
  • Any warning messages will also wipe out the ranking question responses
