Can you click on the syntax error to see which line in which file fails?

It should work with Edge. Can you please try?

Yes I confirm it works with Edge, but not IE11.

OK. Since Edge has replaced IE, maybe this is good enough for us.

I have checked the issue and it seems that this is due to the at once compiler the IE uses for JavaScript.
The problem is that due to architectural things we have to define some variables after their first occurance. This is not important for modern JIT compilers like Chrome, Firefox and Edge, but seems to be a bit of a problem for IE11.
After some consideration, investigating the vastness of other opportunities and backed by the current statstics regarding browser usage we have come to the conclusion to stop supporting IE11 in the backend completely.
In the future we will start to warn on login, that there may be issues with IE11. This issue is thereby closed as a "won't fix".
