| Description | I have set folders /upload and /tmp (and all files+subfolder) to be writable using FTP. While for /upload this seems to have worked fine, the installer reports that /tmp is NOT writable, though I used the same approach and my FTP program tells me it is writable. | ||||

Reproducing can be tricky, I assume it is server related. I'll upload screenshots i a minute if that helps. |

No, but set readble/writable in included folder too ANd i'm sure it's not 3.0 related :https://github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/tree/master/tmp |

Please : test with 2.5X and update Product Version if it's not OK too. See https://manual.limesurvey.org/Installation#Set_Directory_permissions : subdirectory is already in manual. |

What do you mean by "included folder"? I told filezlla to set rights 777 for /tmp and /upload AND all files + subfolders. |

Denis, please check the "folder rigths" screenshot. /tmp and all files and subdirectories were made writable. I did it the same way like I did for /upload. There it worked, for /tmp it does NOT work. Question is: Why? There are new folders created at /tmp/assets and they kind of seem to link to certain files but concole shows me that the files could not be loaded. While at my other installations these are "real" folders with files in it, at the newly uploaded code base these folders just seem to "link" to other sources, see screenshot "assets.png". |
