Summary11953: Changing question type from list radio to multiple choice deles all answers
Description

I made list radio question with five answers. Then I decided a multiple choice would be a better option. Then all answer options are deleted. Is this how it is supposed to work? I cannot remember this from 2.06...

If this is wanted action there should at least be some kind of warning popping up telling all answers will be lost.

Multiple choice is using subquestions while a radio question is using answer options.
If the new question type is also using answer options then they are preserved - same for subquestions.
