Summary11786: EXPORT RESULTS: WRONG EXPORT OF ARRAY TYPE QUESTIONS
Description

When exporting the answers of array type questions (both with Stata, Spss and CSV) I get a column with "CODE+ANSWER", I.e.: 1Strongly agree, 2Quite ...
In Spss the problem is worst as I get a .dat file all composed of "itit" for every field exported, not only for array questions (the syntax file instead is correct).

Steps To Reproduce

Create a survey, add a question of array type.
Add some answers.
Export the results going to:

  • Responses --> Responses and statistics
  • Choose Export --> results to application (or to Spss to test the problem when exporting the results in Spss)
Additional Information

In the menu Responses I have tried both selecting answer codes or full answers, but the output is always the same.
I enclose a pdf file with some printscreen.

For Q7(1 to 9) I should have the possibility to:

  • export the code and the label (as it is in the image you attach)
  • export only the code of the options
  • export only the text (i.e. only the description).

When I added the request to the bug tracker I had Lime 2.53 installed. The fact of selecting (in the part of the export menu concerning Responses' options) Answer codes or Full answer did no apparently change the way the program exported the csv file for questions of type array.

OK, but number 1 and 2 already works, right? At least for me. And number 3 is a small feature request. Or did you expect "Full answers" to skip the question code?

No, if you have an array type question the system alway exports question code + text also if you ask to export only the code or only the text

That is exactly what it should do if you choose "code" (I hope it works aso with other types of questions).
