Summary11443: Ranking Question does not work
Description

I am using Chrome browser with LS 2.5+ (PHP 7.0, Ubuntu server)

When I create a ranking question and test it. I cannot get it to work at all. Neither double-click nor drag and drop works.

Looking at the Chrome browser inspector, it shows the error:
Uncaught TypeError: $(...).sortable is not a function
doDragDropRank @ ranking.js:76
(anonymous function) @ id:844

Is this an installation error? (I installed by cloning from GitHub). Is it possible that a jQuery plugin is not installed correctly?

Possibly, you're using an older template. Try the survey with system default template.
