| Summary | 11209: Allow "CC:" field in emails | ||||
| Description | FEATURE REQUEST Allow the emails to include a carbon copy "CC:" field so that a person managing the surveys has a copy of the email sent to the recipient. I'm seeing that of 60 users, 20 immediately responded and 40 did not. I believe SPAM filters or unfamiliar email addresses caused the invitation to not be presented to the recipient. If I had a copy of the email sent to them, I could, eventually forward it to them in case their SPAM filter relegated the original invitation to oblivion. Having a reminder feature is not enough as the same server email account will probably be treated in the same fashion as the original invitation. | ||||

If it's for token : can be easily done with https://manual.limesurvey.org/BeforeTokenEmail |

I visited https://manual.limesurvey.org/BeforeTokenEmail, but I'm do not know how to manipulate the plug-in interface. It looks like from https://manual.limesurvey.org/Plugins that I have to alter a configuration setting with appropriate code which is something I'm really reticent to do on a production unit. Perhaps I'm missing a fundamental feature? |

1st : never dev a plugin on a production unit . easy is a bad word, sorry : This can be done with some time and competence with beforeTokenEmail event. |
Yes, "easily" was something I took to mean it was available through the production interface. Yes, I can see what the approach would be. Thank you. |

You have some "little" plugin too in plugins/Demo directory Sorry : i never work on a beforeTokenEmail plugin. |
Usually you do that by setting the bounce email. That way you can check for any problems on that bounce email. |
