In Limesurvey 2.5 build 160309, a br has been added after each question.

You should remove that br and leave the job to the CSS.

sure, the br in general will be replaced by CSS when we'll do the 2nd cycle of dev on the survey design.

You're speaking about the frontend part, right ? or about the backend ?
